Fingerprint Security - in a high resolution optical mouse
FM3-01 is an optical mouse with a swipe fingerprint authentication sensor. Housed in a patented mechanism you can simply replace your password with your fingerprint for PC logon, access to secure sensitive files, websites and digitally un-lock your computers. With state-of-the art live sliding chip sensor only enrolled fingerprints can access the data stored in the computer. The FM3-01 is a Plug & Play peripheral with easy installation of the driver.
Windows Password Replacement Login
TheFM3-01 Mouse provides individual user their own personal information bank only the authenticated fingerprints re allowed access to applications and the computer. The storage of authenticated fingerprints automatically detects all required fields, such as user name and password and inserts the required information. To login to Windows is just a simple swipe!
Virtual Drive Data Encryption
With the user's fingerprint successfully verified Windows Explorer will show up a virtual disk drive which was created by SecureLock from the available hard drive space of your PC. The function of the virtual hard drive is exactly the same as normal hard drive, EXCEPT every byte of data stored into this virtual drive is safely encrypted at the moment it is written. That data only becomes decrypted when the user’s fingerprint is successfully verified. The size of virtual hard drive can be adjusted by user.
Screen Saver Lock
When the "Screen Saver Lock" activates only the authorized person can unlock the Screen Saver or password. Only a correct fingerprint authentication can resume your PC from screen saver. The function of "Screen Saver Lock" is to disable the keyboard and the mouse for any unauthorized user.
Password Replacement with a Swipe of a Finger
Computer passwords provide a measure of security but only as long as they aren't lost, stolen, forgotten or hacked in to. Restricting a PC to one or more authorized users strengthens security and by using the FM3-01 mouse, the users only need to do the enrollment at beginning. After fingerprints are authenticated users can store dozens of passwords and logins for specific applications or Web sites directly and easily. The uses’ fingerprints are now replacing all of the passwords the users previously required and needed to remember. The user only needs a swipe of the finger and the FM3-01 mouse will automatically enter user usernames and passwords for the authenticated users.
Data Encryption
File & Folder encryption/decryption prevents information leakage. When the user wants to encrypt individual files or folders on the hard drive or FM3-01, the user only needs to simply swipe authenticated fingerprints, then the file or folder will be encrypted or decrypted automatically. Without either the authenticated fingerprints or master password, the file or folder can not be accessed. The protection is not only encrypted files, but also protects files from deletion, renaming, duplication and moving.
